Lynsey Bartlett

Group Manager Surgical Services

Lynsey is an experienced leader of clinical services having held senior roles in clinical quality, clinical leadership and health management at Hauora Tairāwhiti for over 20 years.  She has a particular focus on improving availability of a range of sustainable services in our community, for our community.  This includes growing and supporting the development of the local workforce.

After graduating as a registered nurse in 1984, Lynsey has continued to study and holds post graduate qualifications in health management and informatics, and a Masters Degree in nursing.

Lynsey is currently involved in the regional development of a new electronic clinical system, and nationally serves on working groups for measuring effectiveness and efficiency of health service delivery and development of health wellness programmes.  Lynsey also represents Hauora Tairāwhiti at the national chief operating officers forum. 

Outside of the workplace Lynsey is teacher of highland dancing and is active in local performing arts and theatre.
