OIA requests – COVID-19 update

Hauora Tairāwhiti is a primary service in respect to the national response to COVID-19, and has diverted all necessary resources from across the organisation to the COVID-19 response.

Hauora Tairāwhiti will be unable to respond to your OIA request within normal timeframes while New Zealand is at Alert level 4 and accordingly, under section 15A of the Official Information Act, will seek to extend the time allowed to make a decision on your request to 20 working days after the Alert level reduces.

For this reason, we ask you to either consider submitting your request at a later date or, alternatively asking us to hold it until Alert level 4 is lifted.
