Midwife and Lactation Consultant

"I am a Lactation Consultant, midwife and Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) Co-ordinator. Supporting mothers to achieve their goals for feeding their babies has always been one of my passions, as well as educating families and colleagues about the importance and benefits of breastfeeding. I love troubleshooting with mamas and finding solutions that work for them. I became a lactation consultant in 2014 and stepped into the role of coordinating our BFHI activities then. I have since taken on the official role of BFHI co-ordinator and have led our DHB through two successful accreditation audits".
